Don't Miss Taste of Chico 2013 - September 8th from noon to 4pm

We invite you to stroll the streets of charming Downtown Chico while enjoying the finest “tastes” our community has to offer. As the largest one-day food, beverage, music and fine art festival in the north valley, Taste of Chico has become a “Chico Tradition” for thousands of community-members and visitors alike.

Produced by the Downtown Chico Business Association (DCBA), a nonprofit business organization dedicated to maintaining and enhancing Downtown Chico as a vital retail and cultural center, proceeds from this event help further this mission. The price of admission provides you more than a full belly and an afternoon filled with local music, art and culture – it provides the necessary revenue essential to the efforts of the DCBA: to promote, market and advocate for Downtown and downtown businesses the remaining 364 days a year.

The scope of DCBA programs and services is diverse and wide-reaching. From well-known community events such as the Friday Night Concerts, Thursday Night Market and Christmas Preview to little-known services such as the Downtown Planter Beautification and Maintenance effort, every ticket sold for Taste of Chico makes it possible.

So remember, when you’re biting into a decadent dessert from Upper Crust Bakery, sipping a refreshing beverage from Tres Hombres or digging into a BBQ creation from Kinder’s, not only are you are you satisfying a craving for good food and fun, but you are also helping DCBA to keep Downtown Chico the true heart of our community – now and into the future.
